so here we are 2015, couldn't do any other blogs due to family issues and just life not being at its finest, but none the less i will try to do a blog for the sake of these assignments starting with an interview if you can call it that with a farmer who so happens to be my uncle.
my uncle George (will not say last name due to confidentiality) started to farm a long time ago, he decided to make a little farm for his family and the people in his neighborhood. you might be asking yourself his neighborhood? yes, my uncle lives in Serbia and provides veggies, chickens, pigs and rabbits, to the people he has known for well forever. the reason he became a farmer was because he thought i would be cheaper to make a sutible farm for himself then to go out and buy pieces of chicken, and in some cases its true, in fact he is making a good amount of money because of farming. a local market that is near the neighborhood has asked him to provide, chickens and pigs. my uncle enjoys doing this and to him its not even hard work, even though him and my aunt are retired. i remember when i was 12 or 13 when i visited them in Serbia, i would always wake up to the stupid rooster every morning, my god how i hated that thing. but none the less we woke up tended to the chickens, the pigs and the cute cuddly rabbits, the veggies were just looked after and never touched for a while, at the time it was raining a lot so no need to water the plants. honest to god i wish i had enough land to create a little farm like that, having my own supply of food would be amazing. i mean i have a little garden that i tend to here in Hamilton, but that looks like crap compared to the farm in Serbia. if only we could do that. if only.
i wish i could find pictures of me when i was little and tending the farm but sadly i coulnt find anything.
